Antique Early 20th Century Automobile/Racing Car Medallion in Bronze for the 'Rally Sigrand' in the year circa 1921.
Very good condition for age, the face to the medallion features the image of a Roman Warrior (or similar) wearing a wold pelt and head upon his own head, around the bust is the legend "corporis robur et habilitas" to the reverse is a foliate detailed matt set to the upper section with a plaque cartouche featuring the legend "Rallye Sigrand - 28 Avril 1929" likely indicating the automobile race sponsored by the department store 'Sigrand' during the period.
The medallion measures 5 cm in diameter with a depth of 3 mm.
Nice aged condition, good patination to the bronze.
